Art…

Hello Everyone. I hope this entry finds you doing well in life and most importantly, feeling well.

I monitor my feelings everyday by keeping myself posted in my journal. This, I feel, is a healthy way to checkin with myself. Amen.

Anyway, the title of the entry is “Art”. Many of you that know me know that I have been drawing on the side of trying to be a successful musician for years. I had dreams that I followed involving music for years and years. But, ultimately I was met with nothing to show for those dreams. It did keep my playing up, though.

Anyway, recently I feel my life took a turn for the better. I’m not sure if you’ve ever heard people describe their life as “being in the ocean of love”, but that’s what I feel happened within the past month. Amen.

It all started when I rejoined the gallery where I show my art in Galveston. The very next day, after hanging up my pieces, I sold one of the biggest pieces I had done to date. I thought, “Wow, this is it.” And I just finished writing in my journal this evening those exact words, “This is it.” Amen.

I am now happily a musician and an artist, both. I play at the gallery almost everyday and I sell my art out of the same place. It’s a gift from the higher powers I’m sure. Amen.

I currently have two commissions going on, one of which is in the works. The other I haven’t started. But, the one that is in the works is turning out to be one of my favorite pieces I’ve ever done. I would post pictures, but I like for people to see the finished product, not snippets of something incomplete.

I will post pictures of this new piece when the piece is completed and they become available. Amen. So, keep your eye-balls peeled, as they say. Haha.

I also want to take a minute to thank you for your support over the years, or however long we’ve been acquainted. It means so much. Amen. I will most likely continue to blog in the years to come and will keep everyone posted on the latest.
