Possibly…
Hello Everyone. How are you? I am doing well. Just finished a session of viola repertoire at the gallery I am playing in tomorrow for Galveston’s Artwalk. Amen. I’m stoked. Should be fun and interesting for me, and hopefully for the people checking out the art. I will have my tip jar out and will be ready to accept your generous donations, whatever the amount. You don’t even have to tip, just enjoying the music is enough. Amen.
That said, let’s get to what the title of this entry is talking about. “Possibly”. Amen.
For those of you who have been in touch with me over the years, you may remember me posting on social media a few years back, that I was asking for funds for a trip to South America. The title of the venture? “Bach to the Streets”. Do you remember? If not, it’s probably because the funding page for the venture was only up for a few hours, before I decided it was not the right time.
Well, here I am, a few years later, thinking about the same venture. I am also thinking about documenting the trip on my phone and making it into a little documentary, also entitled, “Bach to the Streets”. This sounds fun and fascinating to me. Amen. We will see if it happens or not. Amen. But, I’m in the very early stages of something that could change my life.
I’ve always wanted to spend time in South America. Especially, Chile, Ecuador and Argentina. Those are places I’ve always been curious about.
I would save up as much money as possible, and I would also take a tip jar for when I play. One idea I had was to just. see how long I could make the trip last on minimal funding and tips from my street performances. That sounds like a cool idea. Amen.
We will see what happens with this idea. Amen. Wish me luck.
Have you ever had something similar that comes back to you over a period of time that you can’t avoid thinking would be a blast if you could do it?
And, for me, being happily single with no children, there are no strings attached. So, that’s a reason to do it now. Amen.
Anyway, wishing myself the best. Clarity over the next few weeks will probably come. Will keep you posted.
Have a blessed weekend,
Travis Galbraith
