Thinking…
Hello Everyone. Thank you for taking the time to read my blog. I’m am only here to fill you in on what my thoughts are about life and how things are going for me. I am always interested in your reactions to my blog, so feel free to write me a message through my “contact” section of the site. Or, you can respond to the Facebook post.
Anyway, today I am confirming that I am moving forward with the selling of my art cards, art, teaching and playing through this very website. It has taken me a long time to come to this point, I have even had this site for a few years now. I guess I have been busy with other things, both on a mental and physical level. But, here I am, ready to move forward, so there it is.
Also, I wanted to mention the latest on my South America idea, which I posted about last week. I don’t want people to think I’m just going to load up and leave the states. I love it here. My thought today was that the South American experience I am hoping to fulfill at some point, will probably not come for a number of years. So, relax. Haha. I was thinking it could come in three or four years. But, by then, who knows? Right? Amen. Yet, it remains something I want to do.
One that note, I wanted to let you know that I am preparing to undertake learning all of Bach’s Sonatas and Partititas on violin. This is quite an undertaking and will keep me busy practicing for years to come. Amen. But, it is a huge step towards playing recitals and preparing some standard repertoire for your ears, my audience. Wish me luck!!! Amen.
Finally, today I will be working on art, progressing on the website and hopefully getting some practice in on my instruments. Ah, that reminds me, I did play for the Galveston Artwalk this past Saturday. It went well, although I’m not sure anyone heard me over the clamor surrounding the art being displayed. That’s a good thing!!! But, regardless, I wondered why I was even playing at times. That’s how it goes when you play for art showings. People are not there to listen to music, they’re there to look and discuss the art. So, it went. I got paid. Haha. Amen.
Have a blessed day. Thanks for stopping by.
Peace,
Travis Galbraith
