Splendid…

Haha. Funny title, but my thought is that things are going just that way for me today. As I write this, I am thinking of all the creative attributes I have to share with people. Mainly, my music and visual art. Amen.

I consider myself lucky to have had the opportunity to study both music and visual art all these years. Amen. I feel a sense of direction when I work on my creative outlets.

Just today, I found that after practicing violin for the last year and a half, I may be ready to take a step towards achieving my goals. This step, which is to play for people more in terms of playing for weddings and dinner parties and such, will give me more experience in front of people. Amen. I have enjoyed playing at the gallery in that way, but am ready to take a step towards a new experience. Also, I will be able to earn some income in this new way of sharing. Amen. That is a major plus. Amen. But, definitely not the only reason I am doing it, as you can see. I love playing for people, why not get paid? Haha. Amen.

So, next on the list is for me to obtain some new music that will contribute to my repertoire list for weddings and dinner parties. Also, I have thought about just doing this as a solo violinist. Now, the time may come when I collaborate with a pianist, but for now, it’s just me. Amen. This experience of playing for people will encourage me to further hone my craft and artistic skills on the instrument. I recognize that I have growth to do as a musician, but at the same time am confident that I am ready for this next step. Amen.

Also, on another note, I created a piece of art that I can say is probably my favorite piece of all time thus far. It is entitled “Tri-Star”. Its funny, being my favorite piece thus far, my inclination is to keep it for my own viewing pleasure and motivations. When I see this piece, I am proud of what I did in creating it. Amen. It is very clear that there is a lot of meaning within it’s dimensions. That said, I put it up for sale on Monday, although, I am thinking of taking it down soon and placing it on my own wall space here at home. Amen.

All that said, how are you doing these days? Just checking in because there’s always so much going on in the world.
