Sold…
Amen. I sold another painting today to a collector and old friend of mine. Imagine that. Amen. Thank you all for thinking positive thoughts in my direction, they paid off. Amen.
I feel juiced to embark on my coming future. I feel capable of making quality art and music. That said, what will come of all of this? Amen.
Well, I can say I love what I do. And that helps the quality of what I’m producing. Meaning, if you love what you do, do it as much as you can/want. Amen.
There is a common thread of thinking that we are not good enough to consider pursuing our dreams and ambitions. Amen. But I am saying, what else do we have? Ambitions, those creative impulses that propel us into creation and the sharing of our love with one another. Amen. Go forth! Haha.
Anyway, I’ll step down from the pedestal for a bit. Each one of us has an innate quality to create the life we see fit for ourselves. I for one, am a musician and visual artist. I take these mediums of expression seriously because they are important to me as a means of creation and expression for others. This is what makes me tick.
That said, what makes you tick? Is it art? Fashion? Dance? Theater? What is it? Amen. And, in the words of someone else, once you have figured out what you love to do, “you will not fail at it.” I think that’s true because what you Love to do is holy, in essence. Why? Because, love is holy. And if you love it, it is christened. Amen.
So, go forth! Haha. Amen. DO what it is you love to do. I know, some of you are thinking, “but I’m so busy, I don’t have time to do what I want, I “have to” go to work today.” But, you made it that way. Sorry to say. And, I will go further with quoting another source, that you are the only one who can return to doing what you love to do in life here on Earth. You are the only one who can figure this out. Amen. That’s what’s so cool about the whole thing of creation. We are responsible for it. Amen.
What does all this mean? I can say from my experience that we don’t have to cling to anything in life. Love is there and present. Each step is part of the whole. But, by living in the now and staying unattached to anything, we open ourselves to what is really there. And guess what…. It’s Love. Amen.
The Beatles said, “Love is All You Need.” And, they were right. So, what is it you love? Amen. Do it. Amen. Haha. Or not… amen.
Your choice. And in my experience of studying spiritual literature, you’re the only one who can choose for you. Amen.
That said, I am going with what I feel is right for me, my creative outlets.
Amen. No worries. Do what you want with what I have said. Take it or leave it, the choice is yours. Amen.
Love,
Travis Galbraith
