Where I’m At…
Hello Everyone. How are you this evening or whatever time you might have come across this entry? I am doing well, thank you. Amen. I always thank the higher power for feeling healthy. Amen.
Anyway, wanted to share some of my recent stuff with you. Today was awesome. I played at the gallery in Galveston for some friends of mine and they seemed to really enjoy it. Amen. It makes me feel like I’m doing something right. Amen. Confirmation.
Also, I’m thinking about the possibility of joining an artist-owned art gallery in Houston soon. This is just an idea at this point, but could turn into something if nothing else comes along. Amen. It will be a bit of a risk, I think, financially, but could definitely pay off in the long-run. Haha. You see, I will have to pay a certain amount per month, which means in order to make it worth my while, I will need to earn more in sales per month than the cost of the space. But, they have solo shows for their artists every once in a while, which could be really nice. Amen.

Also, I’m showing some art to a collector of mine on Tuesday. He is interested in a particular piece dedicated to him. I am going to take a small number more to see if he likes any of them. Maybe I will be able to strike a deal that both of us agree upon. Crossing my fingers for this one. Amen. This particular collector also happens to be my viola instructor from when I was acquiring my master’s degree. Close friend and colleague who loves art. Amen. Funny stuff.
Finally, I’m going to a show on Tuesday night in Houston. It is one of my go-to bands with the name of Flyte. They are from London, and they sound like a mix between Bob Dylan and the Beatles. Awesome stuff.
Before I go, I also want to share with you that I am considering showing my art on Ebay at discounted prices, maybe even Facebook Marketplace. But, I am not quite there, although I could get there soon. Wish me luck with this decision. I’m really looking for the best way to support myself as I want to move out on my own, simply because I’m ready to do so. Amen.
